Litigation Executive - Compliance Manager

Dana Thompson is a Litigation Executive who joined Graham Coffey & Co. Solicitors in 2004.

She brought with her a vast amount of knowledge and significant experience in the legal sector.

Dana is regularly instructed on Personal Injury claims arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work, occupiers’ liability, public liability, and medical negligence. She can also competently handle dependency claims under the Fatal Accidents Act 1976.

She is able to confidently handle high-value matters which may fall into the Multi Track, and recently settled an accident at work claim for £75,000.00. Dana handles a mix of litigated and non-litigated matters.

Dana also provides direct supervision to her team in the form of advice and support to ensure matters are handled expeditiously and effectively in order to bring about a successful settlement.

As well as managing her own caseload, and her own team, Dana is also responsible for managing issues of Compliance within Graham Coffey & Co. Solicitors. Dana supervises and maintains Graham Coffey & Co. Solicitor’s licence agreements by liaising with and creating panels for Counsel, medical experts, solicitor agents, engineers and costs negotiators. As part of Dana’s role, she is also responsible for generating the firm policy in respect of the same and providing training to new members of staff.
