Doug joined Graham Coffey & Co Solicitors in January 2017 and brought with him over 30 years’ experience in the field of personal injury.

He has a vast amount experience in handling various types of personal injury claims and is regularly instructed on matters arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work and medical negligence.

Doug is experienced in handling both litigated and non-litigated matters of varying values and regularly secures compensation for associated special damages such as credit hire and vehicle damage.

Alongside handling a full case load, Doug supervises his own team, providing insight, support, and advice on best practice when needed.

As Head of Cycling Injury Claims, Doug believes strongly that greater emphasis should be placed on making cycling a safer and more attractive prospect for road users.

Doug is a key architect of the Graham Coffey Cycle Hub, a new initiative designed to highlight the benefits of cycling and campaign for more protection for riders when out on the roads. The safety initiative has already been endorsed by those within the cycling community as an essential step in helping cyclists at every level; understand their rights both as road users and in the event.
