If you are a parent, you know how difficult it can be to see your child in pain. It is even more heart wrenching when a child must undergo surgery and/or multiple doctor visits. At Graham Coffey & Co. Solicitors, we work hard to hold negligent people and companies responsible for the devastating injuries they cause to children. Contact us for experienced representation if your child has been injured in a non-fault accident.
Extended Time Limit for Child Injury Claims
The timeframe for making a childhood injury claim is different than for an adult personal injury claim. While adults must make a claim within three years, the limit for making a claim for a child injury is within three years of the child's 18th birthday.
If you are between the ages of 18 and 21 and you were injured in a non-fault accident as a child, you can still make a claim, no matter how long ago the accident occurred.
